About

Nator Manufacturing is an Australian-owned business dedicated to helping Australian Wildlife by equipping wildlife carers, rescuers and sanctuaries with the most advanced equipment.  From the materials we choose for the manufacturing process, and within every design, our focus is on leaving the smallest environmental footprint possible. 

Nator Manufacturing started in 2019 to help wildlife carers return sick, injured, and orphaned animals to the wild respectfully. The founder, a wildlife volunteer, saw how hard it was for carers to collect and use foliage before it spoiled. This led to creating and launching the Foliagenator.

With a background in construction and a passion for using upcycled materials for environmental solutions for everyday needs, the founder of Nator Manufacturing didn’t sit still for long.  Soon after the Foliagenator®, the CrittaCrib® began to take shape.Today, our goal is to get more products into the hands of as many people as possible, helping them rescue and rehabilitate Australian wildlife and giving animals the greatest chance of survival.

Inspiration

We deeply respect and admire our unique native wildlife and are committed to their well-being. That’s why we create specially designed, high-quality products to help care for and rescue animals, enabling quicker and safer returns to their natural habitats. Our experience volunteering at WIRES inspired us to develop tools that support rescuers in working more efficiently, ultimately saving valuable time and resources in critical situations.

Vision

To be a highly innovative business supplying specifically designed products for wildlife care, and their rehabilitators. In doing so we use the latest technology, environmentally sustainable processes and manufacturing with easily serviced high quality products. To be the brand name that carers can be confident in using time and time again. We believe that quality and modular products are the way forward for creating a sustainable manufacturing industry. Think a refrigerator from the 60s, solid as a wombat, well built and easily serviceable, leading to less landfill.

Mission

Provide wildlife organisations, as well as individual carers and rescuers, with innovative, time-saving, resource-efficient, and wildlife-saving products designed to enhance their efforts. Our ultimate goal is to significantly reduce animal loss and prevent further degradation of our precious environment.

Nator Manufacturing acknowledges all First Nations peoples of this land and recognises their enduring connection to and protection of Country and local knowledges. We thank them for protecting these lands, waters, and ecosystems since time immemorial. We pay our respects to Elders past and present, and extend that respect to all First Nations people who are collaborating with Nator Manufacturing today. We also recognise that sovereignty was never ceded.
